make vlan on vmware

i am newbie on vmware i have some issues....

i want to create 3 vlans for 3 vm guest. i already create 3 vlan on my router and tagged port..

i already create vswitch at my esxi, but all my guest vm cannot ping each other...

please help me... i am still newbie...

You need to specify VLAN ID for a portgroup and then assign that VM's NIC to that portgroup so it can communicate through the VLAN.

Click on your host>Configuration>Networking>Properties of vSwitch> Select VM Network portgroup>Edit>General tab> Specify the VLAN ID.

And then go to your machine>Edit settings>Network adapter>Select particular portgroup from drop down which corresponds to that VM's IP.
