<Drive>:\ is not accessible. access is denied.

hi,

i created a virtual machine installed vm tools. then i decided to add one more drive to system (windows 7 x64 bit).

when i'm formatting the disk. disk is created and formatted normally but when i want to access it, shows somehow i have no rights.

user with which i m trying to access is Domain Admin and UAC is turned off.

i deleted that disk and created another, same scenario. i cant access created disk.

any ideas?

Since you in a domain, are there any group policies restricting your access?

Perhaps you could use diskpart to verify if the disk is in read only mode?

Hi,

I know this is an old post. We are facing the same issue right now. We have removed the VM from the domain but still the same problem. Any idea how to solve this?
