kdriver.log files filled with error unable to open splitter control device /dev/esx_splitter

Hello Gurus,

My new machines

VMware ESXi 6.0.0 build-3380124

VMware ESXi 6.0.0 Update 1

are filling up logs with kriver.log with below message.

"SplitterController: errno=2 ctor: unable to open splitter control device /dev/esx_splitter"

What I feel that this splitter is basically used by DR solutions like vSphere Replication/Zerto  where it splits the write to be used for DR solutions.

At this time I do not have any of those solution running and configured.

Any advice and info would help, there seems to be nothing in KB articles.

These machines are running VSAN booted via SD card and issue is because of this log ramdisk is filling up.

Updated /etc/kdriver/tweak/logger.ini to reduce number of files from 40 to 4, hope this would help with file system thing.

But still not sure why I am getting the error?
