iscsi boot from san - coredump and system logs

I am using iscsi boot from san. any idea where I should put my coredump or system log location?

Do I need to create a dedicated datastore for this?

You should create a dedicate LUN for this and point all ESXi hosts using boot from SAN to this LUN.
