At home I'm running a esxi 4.1 server with 5 vm's, smoothwall,ubuntu server and workstation, vista and xp, recently I purchased a HP proliant microserver 36L because it was so cheap, £100 cashback 
to use solely as a storage device.
I'm testing various iscsi sans under esxi 5 then will try bare metal to see which is best for performance and management .
I've configured the hardware with 2 nic's and the maximum allowed 8gig memory.
Please could someone explain to me whether it's best to use the network cards together with one vserver or is it better to use them seperately for performance.
