installing vmware ESX latest version on same server but new boot media

Hello

I have a project for one of my clients to reinstall Vmware to the latest server compatible version. I have to do a reinstallation because the boot medium will be different.

My question how can I save the configuration of my ESX before reinstallation and to be able to restore it afterwards. Knowing that the source version is in 6.5 and the destination version will be in 7.X

I would like to at least save the network configuration and the configured vswitches of my ESX so that I don't have to redo them by hand

Thanks

As your post needs moving to the area for ESXi, I have reported it to the moderators.
