Hi,
I was trying to install ESXi 7 and 6.7 on ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 and received the following errors:
ESXi 7:
- I used the HPE custom image of ESXi 7 to install it. The installation was successful, while when the server restarted, I received the following error on a red screen:
"NMI detected please consult the integrated management log"
And in the iLO log I found this message:
"Processor 1, DIMM 4 could not be authenticated as genuine HP SmartMemory. Enhanced and extended HP SmartMemory features will not be active"
The memories are 16GB DDR3 made by Crucial!! I could not find any solution, therefore I decided to install ESXi 6.7 on the server.
ESXi 6.7:
After the successful installation, it does not recognize the Raid 1 system!
I see 2 HDD datastores instead of having 1 HDD in the Raid system!!
Please help me with these errors!
