how one can install vsphere on normal windows laptop ? I am very much new to VMware can anyone help in this regard

Install VMware Workstation and create a VM on it and then install vSphere ESXi.

Either you can do browsing your esx server or download client then click on next next & finish.

Hummm, just to clarify, you need install VMware vSphere ESXi to do a lab or just the vSphere Client to connect to a vSphere ESXi host or VMware vCenter Server ?
