installation of ESX 5i failed on IBM x3250 M4

I found the document about how to install ESX 5i on IBM X3250 M4 without using  RAID Card M5014 . But I  failed to install.

Do anyone know whether x3250 M4 support ESX 5i? Did anyone installed ESX 5i successfully before?

IBM x3250 M4 works best with ESX 4.1. I haven't tried using it with version 5. I will try it later on.

Hi

If you check the VMware HCL http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php it looks like it isn;t supported although i would recommend putting in your exact cpu's as i just did a very quick search

ESXi 5.0 is not officially supported on IBM X3250 M4 . Take a look at VMware HCL for more details
