initializing pci passthough

I have a HP ProLiant DL360 Generation 6

I have 2x 10gig pci cards that are causing a hang during boot on the yellow screen, I didn't bother reboot and try again, I just disabled them. The question is:

Can i install drives for it on my VMware ESXI?

Brand of card is Intel 10Gbe XF SR SERVER ADAPTER 893264

What's ESXi version?

Check supported driver version with current firmware version.

If there was any firmware upgrade, you have to upgrade driver as well.
