Hi all

I am planning to setup a separate vSwitch for iSCSI traffic with two vmkernel and iSCSI software adapter. However, it appears I have  broadcom NICs with iSCSI  support. Does that mean i have to diisble the iSCSI support on the NICs if I am gong to use iSCSI software adapter ?

Or should i use the ISCSI  NICs as apposed to iSCSI software ?  I have only worked  with iSCSI software setup and haven't worked on setting up  iSCSI NICs.I

If you have the hardware iscsi there is no point in using the software iscsi.

Refer the below short tutorial on how to configure broadcom iscsi adapter
