iSCSI compatibility - hopefully easy question

i am looking to add storage to my ESXi environment.  i have read that some iSCSI SANs are not compatible with the newest versions of ESXi (i'm currently on 5.1u1.)

is the DELL Equalogic PS3900XV?

i see this link, but really not positive i'm reading it correctly.

it seems to be compatible, but i'm looking for confirmation.

You read it correctly - to be sure make sure the firmware is up to date

Usually Equallogic is very well supported, but indeed make sure you have the latest available firmware. But still, iSCSI is and stays a protocol, so I'm pretty confident it should work.
