Replicated LUN presented to new cluster with 10 hosts, registered new datastore on one host, registered Datastore not visible on all hosts, registered datastore on all hosts, storage team confirmed LUN is shared to all hosts.

Hello

Can you ping the storage IP from ESXi host?

Do you have any permissions or ACL on the storage side?

Thanks,

MS

Make sure multi write is enabled on the LUN .. if the network configuration is exactly similar in all hosts and if the storage admin confirmed mapping of the LUN only thing left out is to make sure muti write is enabled on the LUN to be able to be mounted on more than one host.

share the N/W configuration details anyway.. from 2 hosts.. what storage is it..?

Can you share the output for below commands for that LUN.. from the host where it is mounted and where it is failing to mount.

vmkernel.log copy from any of the non working hosts will also help.

esxcfg-scsidevs -m | grep naa.xxx

esxcfg-mpath -b -d naa.XXXX

where naa.xx is naa Id of the replicated LUn
