i cant install ESXI 8.0 on x3400 M2

Hello

i have a problem that i cant install ESXI 8.0 on my server x3400 m2 Type 7837

i cant find any storage on the screen when i should select storage while installing while iam write this post from the server windows now

i updated raid and the firmware and still nothing appear

Raid controller : Serve RAID M5014

Raid Configuration : Raid 10

what should i do to show the storage and complete the progress???

What type of disks do you have? 

Are you sure that your RAID Ctrl is supported by ESXi 8.0?

Hi,

In my opinion and if I remember correctly, that system was marketed in early 2009 which makes it rather unlikely to be used in conjunction with ESXi 8.0, IBM ServeRAID M5014 controller in HCL stops at ESXi 6.7U3.

Hello.
The IBM system x3400 M2 is very, very old from what I remember it supported up to version 5.1

Some customer tried to install version 6.5 but I don't remember the combination of ServeRaid controller and ethernet NIC that worked.

i installed now esxi 6.0

the server accepted 6.0 but cant read storage the 8.0

at least i have esxi 6 running now
