how to migrate a vm from vsphere 4 to vsphere 5

i have a vsphere 4 and a vsphere 5,i want to migrate a virtual macine from vsphere 4 to vsphere 5

my method is export ovf template and deploy ovf template in vsphere 5,but it show "End of OVA file reached while looking for:***.vmdk"

how can i work out my problem

It would seem that the export may have ended pre-maturely.   Do you have any shared storage to use?   Converter is a good tool to use, but depending on your setup you may have other options.
