how to make VM communicate externally

Hi.

I have a VM in my company's host, I need to make this VM communicate with another VM in a different company, what configurations do I need? I don't have vCenter , its only a single host

What do you mean by comapny (network, branches, sites,.....) ?

The two companies are in the same network or different network ?

There is a routing between two companies ?
