how to find which vmnic is actively used on VMs

Hi All,

We have a Nic teaming policy with active active , both NIC are in Active Adapters, how do we find out which vmnic is actively used on Vietueal machines,

I checked from esxtop but is is showing incorrect information, is there is any other way to check ?

Hi Srinivas_k,

you can try this command: "esxcli network vm port list -w  (vm's world ID)

Hi Srinivas,

With vSphere, we are enhanced esxtop to show which vmnic is used by which VM.

Usage:-

To use it, run “esxtop” from the ESXi console and then type “n
