Hi there,

Do you have a separate VMDK for your C drive?  If so you should be able to increase the size in the VM settings, then in the OS go to disk management and extend the C:\ volume, all on the fly and all without losing data!

Hope that helps.

Good luck

Can you post a screenshot of the settings for both disks so that we can see what you are looking at?

There is a snapshot on the VM. You need to consolidate that before you can extend the size of Disk 1.

Right click on the VM, Select Snapshot....Consolidate (or Snapshot...Snapshot Manager and then Delete All).

All of the writes that have been made to the disk(s) since the snapshot was taken will be applied to the base VMDK file from the Delta files. You will no longer be able to roll back your VM to the point you took the snapshot.

While there is a snapshot on the VM you are unable to increase the size of the disk.
