how to enable hyperthreading & hardware acceleration showed unknown?

Hi,

i have setup ESXi 4.1 on an IBM x3250M3. just wonder how to enable hyperthreading & hardware acceleration showed unknown?

It depends by the processor type.

On latest CPU there is no drawback and a little performance improvement.

Note that HT does not dupe the number or cores, but increse the number of logical cores...

You will more than likely need to enable the features in the Bios of your server.

It depends by the processor type.
