how to develop drivers for ESXi 7.0

Hello sir,
We are an industrial computer manufactor. We would to use ESXi 7.0 as host OS of our computers. However, there are some peripherals (e.g programming led, digital input/output) which ESXi 7.0 doesn't support. We want to develop these drivers.
Would you instruct me how to setup the develpment environment for these drivers?
Looking forward to your instruction. Thanks.

You need the Native Device Driver Development Kit (NDDK) and your company needs to be a Technology Access Partner (TAP). There is an annual fee to be a TAP.

Even if your company is already a TAP, you need approval from VMware before getting access to the NDDK.

So you need to check within your company if it is already a VMware TAP or not. That would be the first step.
