how to change model and manufacter on guest?

Hello

Is there any way to change model and manufacter on guest? It always shows Vmware Inc, I'm using windows 7 on guest

Hi ,

Since  VM is running on Vmware H/w (virtual H/w)  that nbe changed 

Regards to GOS - you can power off VM and change GOS type , but it may create any issue - since vmware recommends to use same version of GOS as OS type in VM .
