how many number of host can be added in vsphere

Hi,

I've vSphere4 stardaard license which I got it after upgradation from VI3 foundation, I'm wanted to add 5 host ESX4 in vcenter4 with vSphere client, is it possible???????

I'm going to do is:

1.> Will add 2 host in one cluster for HA

2.> Will add 2 separate host again in another cluster for HA

3.>Will add one host separate without cluster

IS IT POSSIBLE WITH MY vsphere 4 standard license ????????????????????????????????

I believe the answer is no, you are limited to 3 hosts. See: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/226281

Max here are 3 hosts!!

Sadly, you can not add them all to the cluster, though your klicense won't cover tyou for that many hosts anyway.

If you're buying 5 licenses, you could split them into 2 environments? Otherwise, you'll have to upgrade.

One day I will virtualise myself . . .
