how can I enable drag and drop between host and guest at the ESXi level?

How can I enable drag and drop between host and guest at the ESXi level?  I have modified /etc/vmware/config to allow cut/paste: vmware isolation.tools.copy.disable="FALSE",

vmware isolation.tools.paste.disable="FALSE", but I can't get drag and drop to work.  I tried vmware isolation.tools.dnd.disable="FALSE" but it didn't help.  All the guidance I can find says how to disable the feature and attempting to reverse those flags hasn't worked.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Please read this article carefully: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102643...

And you need to install VMware Tools before applying that on your VMs.

* Don't apply it on your ESXi host because it has security issue.

I have tried out the guidance in that article, including setting isolation.tools.*="FALSE", but it doesn't work.

All my VMs have VMware Tools installed.  I am running the VMs in VSphere.  Could that be the problem?  Thank you

Try Copy & Paste instead of Drag & Drop or try to edit VM file directly via ESXi shell.

Seems, there is no other configurations.
