hosts crash when rescaning iscsi

Hi,

Ive just rescanned our datastores and it seemed to take a long time then the 3 servers attached to that storage crashed and i can no longer manage them. All VM's on those hosts are still up and ive restarted the services but im now just seeing the below message over and over.

No FS driver claimed device 'naa.6000d310003830000000000000000067:2': Not supported

Thanks

Hi

when you say no longer manage, you mean disconnected from vcenter ?

It almost sounds like your have a scsi device that is no longer seen as a valid type of device to assign a storage driver too.

Have you recently added or removed any LUN's on your storage, or presented or unpresented any to ESX ?

If your hosts have all disconnected from vCenter, it sounds like whatever is causing the "not supported" device, ESX is going about it as if its an All Paths Down situation. Its probably trying to repeatedly send I/O to the device, or repeatedly trying to retrieve metadata or sense data from it.

You may need to reboot your hosts.

Can you find out what the naa. number belongs to?  Is it a normal LUN?
