I am wondering how i would get hard drive information(serial numbers)from the hard drives in my esxi 5 server.
Try running esxcfg-scsidevs -l
It will list out all scsi devices. The model/serial number may be able to be obtained there.
These are sas drives, it's quite a new server.
Tried, didn't work.
What kind of server is it?
