guided consolidation analysis duration

Hi,

With Guided Consolidation, How do I set up the duration of an analysis for a physical server ?

(ESXi 4.1, vCenter 4.1)

Welcome to the Community - As I recall you don't you just let run for as long as you want - the loneger you let it run the more accurate the analysis -

Minimum recommended is 2 week, but strongly recommended is 4 weeks. As long you can cover peaks and trough i think you are in a position to make decision

When I start the analysis, the status becomes "Ready for consolidation" after 1 day.

Should I restart the analysis every 24 hours if I want a longer period - 1 week - ? or how there is a mean to configure for a longer period ?
