How can I obtain the serial number for esxi 4?

I am registered and downloaded, installed the esxi 4. It is giving an evaluation period of 60 days
Have you checked mail after registering ? VMware will send a link pointing to licence key... Just follow that you will land in a page which contains licence key for your esxi. Just copy it & apply it on your ESXi using your VI Client.

On the download page it lists your serial number near the top. Copy/paste into license section using vSphere Client (configuration, licensed features, edit, assign new license).
Register here you will get your serial number e-mailed.
