Hi,
I have an HP DL380 and it has 2 raid controller (one for the internal storage another for the external storage-DAS) one is P410i another is P800. Is there a way to query the disks behind RAID ? Does anyone know a tool for that? Maybe a HP tool that will be installed on esxi 5.0
Regards.
You can install the HP Offline Bundle, this will add the array and hard drive sensors, you can then view them on the Hardware Status tab in the viclient.
It will give you basic alerting on failures etc.
With HP's CIM providers (HP Offline Bundle) you should be able to see the status in the ESXi's health tab or on the HP-SIM server (if you have one). An interesting option - although unsupported - can be found at http://v-front.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-run-hp-online-acu-cli-for-linux.html

Go here.
Great step by step.
I did it today and within 30 mintues I was monitoring.
Just load the Offline Bundle.
Install HP SIM.
DO Not do any discovery.
Add the WBEM credentials in step 5, logon credentials for Vsphere Vclient to manage VMware
Now do the discovery.
All done.
FOr whatit is worth the VEEAM free monitor does it better it think. Easier to isntall and configure.
Hi omerfaruksen,
Welcome to the community .
The best tool is used from HPs only as its HPs product .
The link already provided by Brookee.
Installed Veeam but it does not show raid status naturally.. will also try hp method
Apart from CIM Providers for h/w health(including Hard drive status) as mentioned above...HP's new offline bundle now includes hpacucli utility.

Did you load the HP offline pack. Without that nothing will work
After installing hp-esxi5.0uX-bundle-1.0-20.zip and rebooting I can see disk status (also battery of raid card) at Hardware Status tab
