how do I change the ip of a vmknic which is in a dvs switch?
I tried
esxcfg-vmknic -a -i x.x.x.x -n x.x.x.x -s dvSwitch-xxx -v dvPortGroup-xxx
but does not work
Try
esxcfg-vmknic -a -i x.x.x.x -n x.x.x.x -s 'dvSwitch-xxx' -v Port-ID
