Hi,

Did you had any update on that ESXi?

tardisks belong to the bootbank and ESXi profile.

You should upload the ESXi logs to check more in detail what is the issue.

You can export the logs for a particular ESXi, check here: https://kb.vmware.com/kb/653

Hi,

First you should open a question just for your issue. Since we should mix questions so that we can follow each one.

But for you case, you have a service that is down. After ESXi is up, you should connect to the shell console and check the services

using: chkconfig --list

You see somethign similiar to this:

lsassd off

netlogond off

lwiod on

ntpd off

SSH on

iked off

DCUI on

ESXShell on

usbarbitrator on

lbtd on

vprobed on

storageRM on

hostd on

sensord on

slpd on

memscrubd on

dcbd on

cdp on

vobd on

vpxa on

sfcbd-watchdog on

sfcbd on

wsman on

vmtoolsd on

vmware-fdm off

if you see any issues, just try to restart the services services.sh restart

Thank you for your reply. I found the issue. It was a bad internal HD. I removed all the HDs and was able to successfully install. I just ordered a new HD and a raid card.

Did you get this resolved?  I have the exact same issue preventing my ESXi 6.0 Server from booting.

Meaning this error:

Error: More then one exception specification for tardisk /tardisks/s.v00

Error: Ignorin /etc/vmware/secpolicy/tardisks/VMware-sys
Message handler 1 failed: Busy
Invalid config: stat failed Input/output error
