difference between 5.5u2 and 5.5p02

hi all

can anyone let me know the difference between esxi versions - 5.5p02 and 5.5u2..i have a build number 1892794..it says 5.5p02...

can I upgrade to u2 ..?

Basically when ever there is a security vulnerabilities and/or software/hardware bugs found on the running version of ESXi's, VMware would release the new patches to fix those issues. So you may patch and compliance to latest patches. however I have attached below release notes for your two patches. please find it.
