dhcp

hi! i've a win2003r2 dhcp's vm currently running in 3.5i. I'm thinking of migrating it to another esx server running vsphere4i by using the vmware vsphere converter standalone version. After converting i will also change the ip of the dhcp svr because that esx4 svr is in another subnet. Of course, all the ip helper address will be changed accordingly. Has anyone try this out? or is it safer to create another new dhcp server first and migrate the scope over phase by phase?

any advise? Thx.

There shouldn't be anything specific to VMware with regards to moving your DHCP server to a new host.
