how do i find or what is the default queue depth on esxi host? and is it configurable?

Hi,

You can list all advanced setting in SSH from your host with that command line :

# esxcli system settings advanced list | less

And setup it like this

# esxcli system settings advanced set -help

Since 5.x the default queue depth for HBAs in ESXi has been 64 for Qlogic HBAs and 32 for Emulex/Brocade. It is configurable and there are plenty of articles on how to do it for the different vendors (Qlogic, Emulex, etc).
