datastore is not big as the drive

Hi,

I have just install ESXi 4.1 update 3 on my fujitsu primergy rx300 S3 with 6x500GB mounted in RAID5, 2x 1.6Ghz XEON 5110 and 8GB of memory.

The ESX was successfully installed except the datastore : it space is not as big as the drive : datastore capacity 274GB whereas drive capacity 2,5TB.

The KB VMWARE solution to extend the datastore does not work : there is no LUN drive found.

I don't know how to extend the datastore OR create a second which will be accessible to other ESX.

Limitation is 2TB minus 512 bytes for ESXi 4.1, try to remove one 500 GB drive from RAID 5 configuration and try to create datastore.
