datastore getting disconnected

ESXi overtime lost access to files in datastores. It never happened all at once It started with 1 datasore and slowly affected more and more.

All other esx serveres were unaffected. The datastore did not get disconnected. When you browsed the datastore you just saw no files.

Esxi 5.0

I rebooted the Server and after that everything was fine but just wanted to check Root Cause

1.Is it NFS/ISCSI/FC ?

2.Do you have logs available prior to host reboot?

3.If there are no logs available please do post VC task and events?
