create a new vm from template on datastore of hp dl460c g7,speed is very slow

I already installed the esxi4.1 on hp dl460c g7, windows server 2003 enterprise x86 template on local datastore ,but I create new vm from template,the prosses spend 45 minutes about, why it is ?  storage hba is smart array p410i.I install the esx4.1 u1 using image by hp provided.

Thanks john,I find the vmkernel log of the hosts,nothing is useful.viclient login in the host,browse the datastore ,and copy the vm file to local datastore,It 'is still slow.

     I call hp enginner and supporter,but nothing is avalavibe.so hp's support is very terrible.

    

I view performance from host's datastore.

You need battery-backed write cache (i.e. the cache+battery option kit for the P410i).
