copy VMDK from ESXi local data store to SAN data store

One of the VMDK of the VM is configured from ESXI local storage, rest of vmdks are from shared SAN data store.

My requirement is to copy the VMDK from ESXi local DATSTORE to shared SAN data store, is it possible

Once it was copied then I \want to delete vmdk which is in ESXi local Data Store.

Right click on the VM, select Migrate, select Change datastore, click Next, select Advanced, click on Browse next to the VMDK on the local storage, select the SAN datastore you want to move it to, click Next, click Finish.

It will automatically be deleted from the local storage as this process does a move not a copy.
