convert vm disk from lazyzero to eagerzero ,not effective after command

Hi all

new vm with Eagerzero vm disk,

after extend the vm disk size, vm disk change to Lazyzero , the reason as KB said

 run the command vmkfstools -k  vmname.vmdk ,the command run successfully.

but the disk still shows as lazyzero,have to storage vmotion to another datastore

is there any method to make it effective after command run without storage vmotion?

Just wanted to propose storage vMotion. 

I don't but check VMware vCenter Converter. I suppose it should be supported
