configure CPU Mask

Hi Folks - when migrating a VM I get this error:  

 

The VM properties shows 3 levels:   

I have tried changing the CPU mask to the "required" shown in the migration error above, and I have configured it on all 3 levels not knowing which it should be configured on because I don't see a 0x1 level, just what is shown above.   All of the settings in the VM for all 3 levels show default except in level 80000001 where this is what I see:

Also, each time I have attempted a migration and see this error, the required mask is always the same in the error message, but the host bits appears to change each time.

Can someone make sense of this for me please?   I simply want to apply the required mask and migrate.   that's it.

Hi,

Excuse me but where is that virtual machine migrating from and where do you want to land it. From what I remember (many years have passed since I last saw it) that error was the result of "live" migrating virtual machines between significantly different CPU architectures (or with absent features) at the destination.

Check if you enabled EVC , if yes try to disabled it then migrate, or do the power off vm then migrate
