anyone know what vusb0 is? - Single new install of ESX 4.0

When I created a new vSwitch this was displayed as an option for an uplink, does anyone know what it is?

ESX 4.0 164009 - IBM x3650 M2 - local storage - single instance of ESX.

Thanks,

Dan

Hello.

I see you posted on the 3650 M2 discussion as well - have you updated to the UEFI 1.03 firmware? It seems that this resolves some of the weird USB-related issues.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the response, I didn't get a chance to upgrade whilst at the site, but will try it next time.

Cheers

It seems that this is a residue of the uefi update. Still not sure what it does, but its not doing any harm that I can see, except for confusing users!
