after install get error message failed to find boot partation

I am new to ESXI so please bear with me.... I am installing ESXI 4.0 on a dell t105 server. I have checked and the hardware is on the approved list

Server go through the whole install process and the then gives an error failed to find boot partition......... I have installed 3.5 on other boxs and never seen this

This sometimes happens if the boot partition is too large for an older style of RAID controller. Alternatively, your BIOS may not be configured to boot from that specific disk target. Check the boot options in the BIOS.

thanks for the reply....... no raid I am booting to a 250 gig sata drive.......... I disabled the other drives to see if that was the problem still get the same error I will give it another shot today and see what I can find
