We have some WIndows Server 2008 R2 x64 guest VMs with 2 vCPUs.
If I increase them to 4 vCPU now, will it be safe/okay to re-configure them back to 2 vCPU without any ill effect on the operating system and applications??
They are XenApp 6.0 virtual servers with 6 GB RAM and adding vCPUs may be one possible remedy to prevent them from freezing up and locking people out of their sessions etc.
