add 1.52.12.v40.3 of the bnx2x driver to HP esxi iso

Hello

I need to get 1.52.12.v40.3 of the bnx2x driver add to esxi 4.0 update 2 iso so i can install some blades. Once installed i don't have network connectivity so i can't install the new driver with vMA or upload it. All i have is ilo and i am unable to mount a cd rom. Can someone give me hand or a clue to attack this problem?

i am installing esxi on a SD card, could i do something with workstation?

I've been in this situation before after upgrading a chassis.

An option is to download a HP-specific ESXi 4.0 Update1 ISO from here: http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/esxi40u1_hp/ZCV0YmRqaHBidHdw

Then upgrade to Update 2 & install driver. I'm not sure if upgrading to Update 2 will cause you to lose connectivity though, as I haven't gone there yet.

An (unsupported and not recommended) alternative is to enable the "hidden" ESXi console, mount the ISO and hackety-hack.
