a general system error occurred error creating disk no space left on device.

I have an ESXi 4.1 host I have just installed an HP X1600 Storage server as an NFS Share. I was able to succesfully present the NFS Share to the ESXi host but when I try to create a new VM on the share I get the following error" a general system error occurred error creating disk no space left on device." . Now there is over a TB of space on this share as its a brand new share. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions..

Thanks..

Please double check the permissions on the storage server to make sure the ESX host has write access to the NFS share.

Hello,

Make sure that you not mount the nfs in read only mode.

When I browse the datastore from the VI Client I can create a folder on the NFS Store I get the error when I try to create the VM.

I figured out the issue there was a default quota set on the NFS Share set to 100 MB once I disabled the quota I was able to create a VM. Thanks everyone for your help on this..
