Yellow status on LSI 2108 RAID after ESXi update

I updated my ESXi 6.5 host to 20191104001 (build 14990892), and now my LSI 2108 RAID controller is showing yellow status:

vmhba2

Status     Yellow

Additional information

  • vmhba2-firmware-version :
  • vmhba2-driver-version : Version 6.603.55.00.2vmw, Build: 4564106, Interface: 9.2 Built on: Oct 26 2016
  • vmhba2-driver-name : megaraid_sas
  • vmhba2-pci-address : 0000:02:00.0
  • vmhba2-device-name : 500304801C1A8101
  • vmhba2-product-name :
  • vmhba2-serial-number :
  • vmhba2-part-number : LSI 2108 MegaRAID
  • vmhba2-hw-version :

Any ideas what's causing this? The controller's firmware is the latest one (12.15.0-0239 / 2.130.403-4660).

So the HCL incompatibility is suddenly causing the Yellow status? This server always had 6.5 installed, but the warning only started after the latest update.
