XP+Radmin+EXi4 - unstable enviroment?

Good afternoon

We have a very strange symptom, that although seems to be an incompatibility between ESXi 4.0 (without updates or SP1) and Radware Radmin 3 (trial downloaded two days ago), keep us a little worried.

We have two independent HP Proliant DL385 G5p with different goals (different internal configuration, and different types of machines inside).

For testing purposes we put an XP 32 bit Windows machine that has been working without problems since we installed the server. So, we added Radmin that worked flawlessly (good product in a first look). However, some minutes later, the networking capability from not only that but several virtual machines start failing.

With the time, some of then just went off, and some time after that, the complete ESXi server finished with the purple window. And this was repeated several times.

We reinstalled the vmware tools, change some parameters in the virtual machine, stop using the Radmin product, and everyting returned to normality.

Today we put Radmin in another XP machine that has another configuration (other set of drivers) in the other server. And when this server stop all the virtual machines inside, we decided not to use Radmin anymore.

The purple message for the server 1 starts with the following line:

#DF Exception(8) in world 13863:vmm0:Nameofvirtualmachine @ 0x14cb

Inside the log files, there are several Warnings lines : MemSched : 2531 : Guest tools in VM(vmm0:Nameofvirtualmachine ... related with several CPUs (has 8 core) ... and also some Invalid Opcodes.

Could this be a bad symptom from this ESXi version? Take into consideration that everything happens inside a VM and that this made unestable all the ESXi environment. For us the answer is very simple, Radmin out ... but if this could happen in another scenario, would be very important for us to know it.

Thank You
