How to add a USB Wireless Adapter to ESXi Server for Windows 7 Host. — BRANDONJCARROLL.COM
Hi,
i think he wants to use this network card for his host and not a VM.
So, if i understand well, it is not possible to do that. Every hardware that vmware support is listed on the vmware hcl, check here : VMware Compatibility Guide: I/O Device Search
Regards,
Julien.
Unfortunately, wireless nic support on ESXi is not supported "yet".
I was thinking he wants to configure passthrough. As its not supported on host i assumed its for VM.
Why would anyone use a wireless NIC for ESXi :smileymischief:
