Windows Server Cluster Fails when upgrading from ESXi 6.7 to 7.0

Windows Server Cluster Fails when upgrading from ESXi 6.7 to 7.0 . Specificaly, the clustered disks aren't able to be brought back online after failover and migration. When ESXi hosts are rolledback to version 6.7, the disks can be brought back online and everything is functional . This is on Windows Server 2012R2 .

Has anyone had experience with this and know of a solution?

to resolve this issue, you have to upgrade all the ESXi in the cluster and your datastore must be on version VMFS6, also you need to configure the option VMDK clustered on the datastore, this option only is available when you have all the ESXi on versión 7.x

The Work arround over version 7 is to set the ISCSI for the shared disk from physical to virtual

Thanks you support

We have face same issue after upgrading the ESXi 6. to 7.x with Shared VMDK mapped Microsoft Cluster all disk resource unreachable

After changing the Physicals to Virtual issue resolved its working now

Microsoft Validation check

Physical disk (0c74552e-9b59-4b2d-b483-e3dcd3833e0e) is visible from only one node and will not be tested. Validation requires that the disk be visible from at least two nodes.
