Windows 8.1 VM failed to boot up in ESXi 5.1u1 ?

Hi People,

As part of the VDI testing, I'm trying to deploy the latest Windows 8.1 VM in to my newly build ESXi 5.1 u1 server, but I cannot install anything on the newly deployed VM hardware v9 at all ?

here are the error from installing the Windows 8.1 with this file 9431.0.WINMAIN_BLUEMP.130615-1214_X64FRE_ENTERPRISE_EN-US_VL-IMP_CENA_X64FREV_EN-US_DV5.ISO:

Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Which virtual SCSI adapter did you configure for the VM? You should use the virtual LSI logic SAS controller as the drivers should be included in the Windows base image already. If you're using PVSCI, load the drivers manually during installation via the floppy image provided by the ESXi installation in the /vmimages directory.
