Ok, I have tried Vista 32 bit as well, same issue. I am using a Dell R710 and setup the vm as vista 32bit, and set the cdrom as host device connected at power on. It boots and starts the OS install fine but then loses the connection to the CD? Please Help.
Thanks,
Dan
Update, It looks like XP Pro SP3 installs fine. I will try Win 2008 server as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
I got this with Windows Server 2008 R2. It just turned out to be bad media. I downloaded the ISO and burnt it and it worked fine. Havent tried Windows 7 yet.

Thank you for the reply, but i have tried several cd's and all have the same result. It loses the connection with the cdrom during the install or looks for a driver based on what it see's and cannot find it.
Thanks,
Dan
Ok, got it to work. I shut down 2 of the windows VM's I had running and its installing fine.
Thanks,
Dan
I am having the same problem on a HP bl460c g6. i get the VM to recognize the floppy driver but then get the following message "No new devices could be found. Make sure the driver files are correct and located on the driver installation media." I didn't have this problem with the beta release. any ideas?
